If you had the car titled in your name and just lost the title you can go to the court house can tell them you lost the title and they will make you a new one. This will cost you around $10
You cannot sell a car without a title. Go to you local DMV and tell them you lost the title. There you can apply for a new one. Once you get the new title you can sell the car. Don't try to do it any other way.
You go to court. All you have to do is go to your local dmv and apply for a duplicate (lost/stolen) title.
Well that's a good question but ill give yo the right answer for it. you have to buy another one they arnt the best of price
take the title to the courthouse they may be able to fix it if not they will file for a lost title which means they will call and say you lost your title to the car and they will send a brand new one but you may have to wait like 6 weeks.
when you applied for the lost title did you indicate the card had been signed over to somebody else? legally that's fraud but the laws vary from state to state. also depends ifnthe person that it was signed over to paid anything for it and if the state had cancelled the title for lack of insurance etc.
No. Each car has its own separate title so you can't transfer it to a different car. You can, however, transfer title of a car from one person to another. That is part of transferring ownership of the car.
Don't do it! You will not be able to register it. You can file for a lost title but good luck. Go to Nevada; all you have to do is sign an affidavit to get a new title. Really.
This means that either one of the two individuals on the title can sell or sign over the title to another individual.
Yes you can but you have to ask the company first
yes you can but it would be cheaper just to get another one.
you may check with your local dmv. they could set you up with the paperwork to apply for a lost title and issue you a new one if you qualify for that
