The alarm should turn off once you start the car. If the alarm is going off while you are driving, pull over and remove the fuse.
You have to program the alarm in order to get it to stop going off by either doing it yourself or by giving whoever is coming into your house the code. You can also contact the alarm company in order to get it to stop ringing.
take the relay out of your fuse box that is for the alarm system. no relay means no power to the alarm system, not a fix but good enough to get you by until you can find the real problem and fix it
Call an alarm repair man to fix it.
Pull the fuse until you can find help.
the remote has been lost and a new remote has been purchased. i had to remove the fuse to get the alarm to stop. how can i reset the alarm? So i can program the new remote.
some car alarms have a backup battery in them. thses batteries if worn out can stop the alarm working.also sometimes the battery in the remote needs replacing to work
I can't give you exact details, but I have had to do this, and it is difficult, but doable. I was having trouble with my alarm going off all the time for no reason. You have to remove the fuse for the alarm. You should purchase or consult a manual for your car to determine the location of this fuse. For me, it was located very far up under the dash. It is possible. : ) Good luck. NOTE: if you are talking about shutting it off if you trip the alarm by opening the door or something, all you do is open the rear hatch. Opening the rear hatch will shut the alarm off once it has tripped.
Hello: You can first try,,,looking for the fuse box,,,and see if there is a fuse for the ringing bell. Pull the fuse out,,,and the noise will stop.
