Yes you can it will bolt right up to it.
yes if both use the center bolt valve covers
Dont know but the F40 transmission (out of Pontiac g6-6spd) bolts right on to the LS4. LS4 is basically same engine, change a few things on it like exhaust headers, intake etc (using LS1 parts) and you will get same power. Some guys mate the F40 to the LS1 using an adapter plate...but why waste $ when LS4 can be found for $1,000, is newer and will have less KMs on it.
4l60e
The LS1 and LT1 designations are for the engine not the transmission. A 1993 Camaro Z28 would have originally been fitted with an LT1 engine. Available transmissions behind the LT1 would have been the Borg Warner T-56 (manual), or the 4L60E (automatic).
Yes, they all use the same seat rails. They should bolt right in.
depends on which 4l60e you have...all the bellhousings are different so u will prob have to get the right one or if you have the means or u can find one u could use an adapter to make it bolt right up
yes
Yes 1998-2002
You can't because it's a sealed transmission.
yes for the most part it will bolt right in. however the electrical (ECM) and fuel system may make it a trying affair.
If you have a if you have a ls1 motor in your mendeola trans you have much more important things to worry about than how to get it out..... good luck
