A cracked fuel line in the intake manifold will spray fuel into the manifold where it drains into the oil pan or a fuel pressure regulator with a bad diaphragm will allow fuel to flow into the vacuum line that attaches to the regulator to let it meter more fuel under acceleration this fuel also winds up in the oil pan.
Replace the fuel injectors and the fuel pressure regulator.
If you have gas in your oil pan, then you probaby have gas in your oil. if you have gas in your oil, then you either have bad piston rings, or a bad carburetor (or injectors if the engine is newer). The way to check if you have bad piston rings is to see if you're blowing blue smoke out of your exhaust.
If your 1990 Lumina has gas in the oil pan, then there could be a stuck injector flooding the engine. There can also be a blown head gasket. Driving the vehicle can destroy the engine.
For gas engine center rear of oil pan, it is a cast aluminum pan 15mm bolt and the oil filter is next to and up. When you remove the bolt oil will flow out 12+ inches back.

Could be a very rich condition such as stuck injector or float.
Drain the oil from your oil pan. Remove the oil pan bolts. There are 24 oil pan bolts. The oil pan will come off.
Florida does have some small amounts of crude oil for petroleum and natural gas. The state does offer some oil refineries in the area of the pan-handle.
You will need to drop the oil pan to change the oil pan on a Hummer 2. The oil pan is located in inside the oil pan. You also need to first drain the oil pan of the old oil before you drop the pan.

You will need a new oil pan gasket when the oil pan gasket leaks. It is recommended that you use a new oil pan gasket every time you remove the oil pan.
Drain the oil from your 1996 Chevy Lumina oil pan. Remove the oil pan retaining bolts. The oil pan will come off.
