diesel is more expensive
The petrol is lot more expensive in this town.
they might be more expensive as fuel is used a lot nowadays. Alternatives may have be used later on but at the moment the price is increasing (e.g. Petrol)
The only advantage is that alcohol is "renewable". Alcohol has less energy per unit volume and/or weight, and currently is more expensive.
diesel is usually more expensive but diesel cars usually have more mpg than petrol cars
More expensive to instal, cheaper to run
Supreme petrol is one way to say that the gasoline possesses more percentage of hydrocarbon. More the percentage of octane for a given petrol, it will burn more hence giving more energy and less unburnt hydrocarbons. Supreme petrol's are little expensive than regular petrol.
Without petrol (gasoline) and diesel fuel, we would be forced to use other forms of energy. We would rely more on solar energy, wind, human energy, geothermal energy, and nuclear energy. If we were in close danger of running out of fossil fuels, we could transition to using other forms of energy.
extracting energy from nuclear fuels is more expensive than extracting energy from fossil fuels
The price of fuels is highly dependent on taxes, which are controlled by politics. And politics change. In Europe, diesel is usually a little cheaper. In the United States diesel is usually a little bit higher.
Petrol is not typically burned in power stations because it is more commonly used as a fuel for vehicles due to its high energy density. Power stations tend to use fuels like coal, natural gas, or renewable sources such as solar or wind because they are more suitable for generating electricity on a larger scale. These fuels are often more cost-effective and efficient for power generation than petrol.
We should use more energy efficient cars and use better fuels like Ethenol which pollute leeser than petrol.
