My guess would be the San Andreas Trench... The San Andreas Fault is a continental transform fault that runs a length of roughly 810 miles (1,300 km) through California in the United States. The fault's motion is right-lateral strike-slip (horizontal motion). It forms the tectonic boundary between the Pacific Plate and the North American Plate.
Its in San Francisco

I lived in The City for many years, but that was long ago. So take my observation with a grain of salt. The bridge is on the north side of the city. The airport is south of the city. Between the two are the hills of The City. I don't believe that you can see the bridge from anywhere near the airport. FriPilot
The series Streets of San Francisco was filmed all in "San Francisco", so was Gary Cole's "Midnight Caller" was filmed all in the bay area too. So was "Nash Bridges" and the recently cancelled short lived NBC show "Trauma". Note that many other TV shows are set in San Francisco, but film all of or most of in LA or Vancouver.
It's right across the bridge, so about 5 miles.
2300 MILES SO about about 30 hours

The time difference between San Francisco and Ireland is typically around 8 hours. San Francisco is ahead of Ireland, so when it is noon in San Francisco, it is 8 pm in Ireland.
