There is not one vacuum hose but rather a system of vacuum hoses. Open the hood and look on the plastic shroud that covers the radiator. It should have whats called a vacuum diagram. It shows the routing of all the vacuum hoses. They all need to be visually inspected and repaired or replaced if the are cracked , broken or have holes in them.
NO. When a engine is running it makes it's own vacuum. That's why there is no vacuum hose on that year regulator. It is inside of the engine.
You can get a 1996 Chevy Corvette vacuum hose schematic diagram at most Chevrolet dealerships. Your local library will have Chevrolet Corvette service manuals with the diagram.
Just pull off the old vacuum hose, cut an appropriate length of the correct sized replacement hose and push it on. If you can't find, or get, the right sized vacuum hose, windshield washer hose is often an acceptable replacement. BTW, it is totally acceptable to replace those hard plastic vacuum lines with rubber vacuum or washer hose.

The crank sensor on a 96 Mitsubishi Mirage is located on the bottom of the engine, near the oil filter. It constantly monitors the crankshaft and updates the vehicle's computer.
That transmission does not have a modulator valve that makes it shift it is all computor controlled. Therefore it don't have a vacuum line on it anywhere. it does have a small rubber line on it that is a VENT hose.
check that the vacuum hose is not clogged up
replace the hose or gasket the is leaking, you can spray carb cleaner around the eng whil runnig to locate the leak the eng will try to stall
