behind the glove box open it and remove both stops on the sides, then hang it down, there is a box with a lid on it, remove it and they are in there. remember that the filter are directional, air flow is from top to bottom

It is not replaceable, is a permanent filter, and is located in the fuel tank.
There is no automatic transmission filter on Honda Pilot.
The thermostat on a 2005 Honda Element is located near the radiator where the hose meets the engine block. The cap and thermostat is all one piece.

It is located next to the gas tank. No it is not. It's under the intake manifold. You must remove the intake manifold to get to it.
