Bank 1 (cyl. 1-3-5 passenger side) Sensor 1 (first sensor from engine) is accessible from under car. It is located just before the catalytic converter.
Bank one sensor one on a 2006 Ram is before the catalytic converter on the driver side.
Bank 1 would be the bank of cylinders that contain the number 1 cylinder. If it is a 4 cylinder engine there is only one bank. So, bank 1 sensor 1 would be the first sensor you come to in the exhaust system leaving bank 1 of the engine.

On a 2006 Dodge Dakota bank 1 sensor 1 is driver side above the catalytic converter.
The HO2S (Heated Oxygen Sensor) bank 1 is between the manifolds and the Cadillac Converter. Manifold Exhaust (T) > "HO2S Sensor" > Cadillac Converter > muffler
Is this bank 2 sensor 1 or sensor 2?
Bank 1 is the bank of the engine that contains #1 cylinder. Bank 2 is the other bank. Sensor 1 is located before the catalytic converter. Sensor 2 is located after the cat converter.
