A three prong coolant temperature sensor is an automotive part. These can be bought at any automotive part shop, or general shop the sells car parts.Ê
coolant temperature sensor is the right of the coolant outlet line on the top of the engine when looking at while standing in front of the truck. it has a black two prong clip attached to the sensor. the oil temp switch is to the left of the coolant outlet line. it has a single black wire coming off of it.
It is the sensor located in the water pump. It is a 2 prong plug, screwed straight into the front of the water pump. The other sensor that is located in the cylinder head is for your gauge.
There are actually two different devices that fit this description. The sensor that runs the guage is directly above the oil filter on the passenger side of the engine. This part has a conecter that looks like the threads of a bolts. The sensor for the computer is connected to the same housing for the thermostat. This part has a connecter with a two prong plug.
LOOK BY YOU THERMUST STAT HOUSING CANT MISS IT A BUNCH OF WIRES WITH A PLUG Actually it is on the opposite side of the motor ie, if the thermostadt is on the front left the sensor is on the back left and there is only one wire with a two prong plug. It is set in kinda under the throttle assebly.
The speed sensor on a 1996 Honda Accord is found on top go the transmission. The sensor will have a two prong wire clipped into it.
it's on the side of the throttle body(3 prong plug)

Somewhere by the crankshaft Facing the 3.5 engine from front of car, left rear. Sensor is connect to housing seem on transmission where connect to motor. It has a three prong clip and a 10 mm bolt securing sensor to housing. Best access is from bottom of engine. If you have a lift, it takes about 10 minutes to replace. Good Luck.
Under the Distrubutor housing, 2 wire prong.
It is a the tail end of the transmission and should have a 2 prong connector.
on the left hand side of the motor on the wall should have a 3 prong black cord in it
It depends on what engine you have. I have the Dt466 engine in mine and my MAP sensor is located on top of the valve cover towards the front of the engine it has a three prong pigtail on it.
