Hybrid vehicles presently offer the best fuel economy, with 40-51 miles per gallon. The Toyota Prius is the most efficient at 51 miles per gallon. The Honda Civic Hybrid also gets excellent gas mileage, with about 40 miles per gallon.
A Chevrolet Aveo can get up to 35 miles per gallon. That's a better standard highway fuel economy than other vehicles like Honda Fit or Nissan Versa.
Fuel economy is an important aspect in motor vehicles. The general miles per gallon that a 1977 Chevy Silverado gets combined is 15.
They're different forms of measurement. You can't compare length with capacity.
The 2012 Honda Odyssey has an EPA Fuel Economy rating of 19 miles per gallon for city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway, giving it a combined 22 miles per gallon rating. The industry average for cars sold in February of 2012 was 27 mpg, making the Odyssey below average.

This is another question asking us to compare units of different quantities. Milligram is a unit of mass (or weight), and gallon is a unit of capacity (volume). There is no answer. You might as well ask how many ounces are in an inch.
The new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder has an estimated fuel economy in the city of 20 miles per gallon and an estimated highway fuel economy of 26 miles per gallon.
