Likely a loose or broken strut or shock. Could be the same for a load leveling bar, depending on the vehicle.
A leaking manifold seal on the intake will cause a popping noise on the 1996 Honda Accord. This can heard most clearly on days when the weather is cold because the seals tend to shrink.

If it pops when turning it is most likely the CV joints.
You may very likely have bent the thin metal backing plate behind the brake rotor. That will cause the backing plate to rub against the rotor and make an awful grinding noise. Its not too hard to reform the backing plate away from the rotor.

Could be a bad CV joint. It would make a popping noise.
DID you check for a air leak,fuel,ok. Carburator?
check the U-joints in the drive line
I would like to know. I have had a popping noise in my throat for about a year now. My doctor says it's harmless and normal since there is cartilage and bone moving in that area of the throat.
