A 4.060 bore with a 3.75 stroke is 388. A 4.060 bore with a 350 crankshaft is 360. yes the cubic inches of a Chevy small block with a 4.060 bore and a 3.75 stroke would have 388.4 cubic inches of desplacement however if you have a 4.060 bore and a 4.00 inch stroke you can have 414.3 cid but you have to use a 5.850in connecting rod for clearance of the counter weights

Yes, kits are available allowing you to "stroke" a 350 engine. Doing so increases the piston stroke by increasing the crankshaft "throw".
A 350 starts out with a 4.000" bore and a 3.48" crankshaft stroke which really only gives you 349.8 cubic inches. (Chevy rounded it up to 350) Your engine which has the same stroke of 3.48 but now is bored .030" over (making the cylinder bored size now 4.030) total size of 355.1 cubic inches or just a 355.
4.000 inches -- same bore size as a Chevy 350, the difference is a 327 uses a 3.250 stroke and the 350 uses a 3.480 stroke.
