That 87 truck already has a carburetor on it.
Go to an efi specialist like http://www.massfloefi.com and talk to them about their products.
YES, They are the same engines. There's NO difference what so ever.
That depends, is it carbureted or EFI? If you have a carburetor I'd suggest the jets, float level, accelerator pump... If it's EFI check the EGR valve, oxygen sensors, scan the computer for a fault.
The Chevy Duramax has an amazing top speed of 140 MPH. The Chevy duramax is pushing 350 hp. with 6600 flbs of torqe at 3200 RPMs u can disable it with the PPE Tuner Or Efi Live.
yes it is possible to swap the two motors but considering the 69 motor is carburated you will need to install the propler wiring harness from the 91 350 into the truck and hook all that up. but the motors will bolt up and go rite into place without a problem
Most Chevy v-8's have the firing order of: 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2
