Orlando is approximately 45 minutes from the east coast. The prettiest beach there, i.e. no ungly condos and t-shirt shops, is in a town called Titusville. The beach is called Cape Canaveral National Seashore. The road out also has a veiw of the shuttle launch pad. To get there take 528 the beachline east to I-95. Take I-95 North and get off on the second Titusville exit (Garden Street). Turn right and head east toward the beach. This road takes you straight to the beach (small beach fee).
