As long as your are the registered owner of the car ( you will have to show proof of that) you can get a key made at the dealership..

Typically, no a felon cannot sell a car at a dealership in California. Unless, of course, they are the outright owner of the car in which they are trying to sell to the dealership, (and have all the paperwork to prove this true) OR they are under an employment agreement with the dealership, and it is their job to sell cars at the dealership.
You may just need to sign a form stating that it was your car, and that you did sell it. It's up to him to get the paperwork, not you.
It's your obligation to have that paperwork and your obligation to contact the car dealership and/or the credit lender and have them send it to you. If you fall behind on payments, you won't be able to use the excuse that no one sent you paperwork. Call the dealership where you purchased the car, ask for the finance person. The finance person should be able to pull your paperwork and see which company did the financing and give you the number to call. There was obviously an error done somewhere if you have not heard from anyone yet. Call soon before something happens. Call the dealership where you purchased the car, ask for the finance person. If the key is lost for a car which has a immobilizer system in place, you will need to contact the dealership. Most car keys have microchips in place to prevent auto theft. The car dealership will be able to order a new key to start the car.
you get a bad record on your credit
You can take possession of a used car immediately if you have signed the paperwork for the loan or if you have paid cash. Sometimes the dealership will need to wash or clean out the car and they may have you wait.
nothing happens to them, it;s perfectly legal for them to sell a car to anyone of legal age.
The used car dealership probably arranged your loan through some financial institution, and not through itself. Check your paperwork to see where payments should go.
No. The only time there would be a consumers' right of rescission is if the dealership contacted you at your home, brought the car to your home and signed the paperwork in your home. If you traveled to the dealership under your own free will, there is no right of rescission on the purchase of an automobile in the State of Minnesota.
This must be done at the dealership. I did not have a spare and lost my only key. Key had to be special ordered. The car towed to the dealership and programmed. $400.00 for new key and keyless remote.
