You can purchase Loctite Auto Mirror Adhesive to replace the rear view mirror at any auto parts store or Walmart. Follow the directions to the letter.
To fix a rear view mirror; you need to go to an autoparts store and pick up some rear view mirror glue and follow the directions on the package. If done right it will be as good as new.
Most rear-view mirrors are attached with special glue - go to any auto-parts store and ask them for rear-view mirror glue and they'll help you out.
Get some rear view mirror glue from target and glue the plate to the window. Make sure the tapered edge tapers into the window. If you glue it on wrong you can always buy another plate and glue that to the first but you will feel pretty stupid. Then slide the mirror on the plate.
