Yes. Cooling fan, engine fan, and radiator fan relays are all the same thing.
The radiator hoses will need to be disconnected. Remove the cooling fan. Unbolt the radiator and any shroud surround and the radiator will come out. Reverse to install.
Blockage in the cooling system No or little fluid in the cooling system Radiator fan not working
A few posibillities. Cooling system level low. Cooling system air locked. Radiator fan switch faulty. Head gasket failiure.
The radiator is located in front the engine cooling fan and shroud, at the front of the motor. _____________chassis_________________ _____________________________________ Fire wall motor ~cooling fan~ radiator ________________________________________ chassis
the fan switch.
on the radiator fan
Your Lumina 2001 engine light might come on while the radiator fan is working because the fan is turning too slowly, is damaged, or is not cooling the engine correctly.
One of the most common (yet often overlooked) problems in the Honda Civic is the radiator fan switch. Another possibility is the radiator fan relay. Not too commonly, the cooling fan motor itself could be bad. Finally, check the wiring and connections to the radiator fan switch and the fan motor to make sure nothing is loose, corroded, or broken.
check the cooling fan sensor somewhere attached of the fan housing.
In the radiator.
One possibility is a stuck thermostat. If the radiator cap is left off when the engine is started, does the water appear to be flowing from one side of the radiator to the other after the car reaches temperature? If not, the water in the cooling system is not circulating. Another possibility is a clogged radiator. A broken water pump will usually make noise, or leak. Does the fan come on at all? The fan is required for engine cooling when the vehicle is not in motion. Is the cooling system full of coolant, or can you see any when you open the radiator cap? If not, add coolant.
