I was looking at one of the Ford websites and it shows :
For a 1987 Ford F-150 , 4.9 liter / 300 cubic inch inline six cylinder engine :
( the spark plugs are gapped at .044 inch )
For example : The spark plug gap for the 460 cubic inch / 7.5 liter V8 engine in a ( 1987 Ford F-250 is .044 inch )
According to one of Ford's websites : For a 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria : ( 5.0 liter / 302 cubic inch V8 engine , .050 inch spark plug gap ) ( 5.8 liter / 351 cubic inch V8 engine , .044 inch spark plug gap )
On a Ford Excursion ( if it has a gasoline engine ) ( the 5.4 liter V8 engine has 8 spark plugs ) ( the 6.8 liter V10 engine has 10 spark plugs )

The Ford 4.0 liter V6 engine has ( 6 spark plugs )
That depends if you have a gasoline engine On a 2003 Ford F-250 if you have the 5.4 liter gasoline V8 engine it has ( 8 spark plugs ) If you have the 6.8 liter gasoline V10 engine it has ( 10 spark plugs ) If you have the 7.3 liter DIESEL engine it doesn't have any spark plugs
In a 2006 Ford Fusion , gasoline engines : The 2.3 liter four cylinder engine has ( 4 spark plugs ) The 3.0 liter V6 engine has ( 6 spark plugs )
( .050 inch ) - spark plug gap for 1986 Ford Mustang - 5.0 liter engine
