Next to the oil filter
It will be easier to do when you change the oil and the oil filter is removed. Just remove the bolt that holds it on,twist,wiggle and pull it out. They can sometimes be a pain and be stuck,but they just pull strait out.
Standing in front,on top of engine in front,above fuel rail.
On the Z24 it is located in the center of the engine, front side, underneath the air intake. From below, you can find it up and on the driver side of the oil filter. When you disconnect it, locate the crank sensor that is also to the driver side of the oil filter and yet behind the starter. It tends to come unplugged when you drop the old starter out.
back center of the block right above the oil pan it has 2 wires going to the one above it with one wire is the knock sensor

yes If the ecm does not see rpm from senor it will not turn fuel pump on,you will only hear pump cycle during key on before crank ,but no fuel pump heard after crank tech14444

does the vehicle crank at all or does it not do anything>: If the vehicle dose not crank be sure to have your headlights OFF. I know that this is a problem in my 1988 Z24.
I HAVE AN OBD 2 SCANNER AND IN MY BOOK THAT IS THE INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT OR ALSO REFERED TO AS IAT SENSOR. THIS SENSOR IS LOCATED RIGHT ON THE AIR INTAKE TUBE. I THINK IT IS A TWO WIRE SENSOR.
Coolant outlet adaptor(upper radiator hose) Close to the power steering pump. Its always closest to the coolant outlet that LEAVES the engine.
