If you change the whole engine.
1.8 liter
The 4.2 L - V6 engine used in the 1997 Ford F-150 is an OHV ( overhead valve not an overhead cam ) if that is the engine you are referring to ?
if you have the ztech dohc (dual overhead cam) motor it has 16 valves. The cheap soch (single overhead cam) ford put into the focus has 8 valves. this motor has the same displacement as the doch, but it is easier to work on. at the same time it is less efficient, and slower.
yes
If it's a zx2 it's a dual overhead cam. It it's an LX SPI it's a single overhead cam.
It has a 2.0L dual overhead cam engine with 4 valves per cylinder called the Zetec.
Where is the dual overhead cam located or the air temp charge sensor?
Ford made 3.0 L Over Head Valve / pushrod design engines and 3.0 L Dual Over Head Cam engines for the Ford Taurus
No Ford Crown Victoria or Police intercaptor has dual overhead cams. The dual overhead cam engines were only used in Mustangs and Lincoln MK8's.
