There is Eight Bolts. The bottom to face the rear. Middle Four Face the front . Now the ones you cant find are at the very top facing the rear. I had to lower the tranny and motor to get a long extension to remove driver side. I Think u have to remove the exhaust to get the passenger side. The Passenger side is the hardest to find too

6 bolts hold the transmission to the back of the engine.
Yes, bolts simply hold in a Camry transmission. That's just a law of nature
There are 6 bolts that hold the transmission to the 4.3L block.
you first remove the engine mounting brackets, then you place a jack under the transmission and remove the cross member bolts that hold the transmission up. after the bolts are removed you can lower the transmission down which will tilt the motor back allowing access to the top 2 bolts from the back side

pull the dust cover off the transmission and the converter bolts are easily accessable from there. there are three nuts and bolts that hold the converter to the fly wheel. probably 9/16 head bolts. turn the motor by hand until you see one.... tighten it and rotate motor again by hand until you see the next... tighten it and turn it to the third... tighten it and then reinstall dust cover

6 bell housing to block bolts.
1) Remove wiper arms, pop off the small caps at the base of the arm and remove the nut, wiggle arm until free. 2)Remove wiper cowl. That black plastic cowl is held on with the plastic screws they are threaded but you may have to pry up on them gently while turning them out. 3) With the cowl off you can see the 3 bolts that hold on the wiper transmission remove those 3 bolts, disconnect the wires and pull out the assembly the motor will come with it. 4) a couple bolts hold the motor to the wiper transmission, remove them and the motor is free.
The blower is under the glove box next to the passenger door. There are 3 bolts that hold it in, and has a wire connector that needs to be removed afterward. Installation is the reverse of removal.
