let vehicle run to get exhaust hot, spray penatrating oil where threads are..... wait..... yes oil is flamable, so be careful.. try it. no luck? cut wire or wires and put a 7/8 or 22mm socket on sensor

∙ 13y agoYes it does cut your car off, The sensor is controlled by module that controls everything
Yes
Honestly No not from what i kbnow.. but a Bad Ignition Wire Can..
It's underneath your car. Off the exhaust pipe.
it is false economy to do that. the sensor is probably gone too,or on its way out. buy a new sensor. it will pay for itself in the long run.
Take it to the dealership.... Its real simple take the car jack it up take off the housing cover where the oxygen sensor is at then un plug the sensor, and replace...
You can not. Replacement of the oxygen sensor is the only way.
It is underneath the car, at the exhaust manifold where it comes off the engine...access it from the bottom
On the downpipe coming off the exhaust manifold. Or in less mechanical terms, at the back of the engine under the car.
it most likely is an oxygen sensor
Very doubtful that an oxygen sensor would do that.
Depends on the year of the car. If the 3000gt is a 91-93 model then the oxygen sensor should be right before the catalytic converter sticking off of the exhaust pipe. If it is a 94-99 model then there will be one before the catalytic converter and one right after it as well.
