Which lights?
in the fuse panel.drivers side of dash.
If the dome lights and the radio went out at the same time on a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo, it could be a fuse. There are two fuse boxes on that vehicle. One is on the passenger side in the engine compartment and one is located in the dash on the driver's side. The fuse for the radio is in the dash fuse box.
Bad dash light, or dimmer fuse. Or a bad dimmer switch itself
Take off the dash cover.Pull out the gauge cluster.Unclip the wiring harness. On the back side of the cluster, untwist the plastic caps and pull them out.Pull the bulbs out of the plastic caps.Replace with new bulbs.Reassemble.Bulbs can be purchased at any auto-parts store for about .80 a piece.
there are two fuze boxes there is on under the hood and the other is on the side of the dash on the drivers side
If you are speaking of the PCM(Power Control Module) or ECM(Engine Control Module, it is located in the inside middle of the dash. There is also a ECM relay in the underhood fuse box.
Remove the fuse. Fuse box is located on the driver side of the dash, between the dash and driver side door.Note: The airbag is part of the safety systems in the car and should not be disarmed.
Check your fuse. Usually the manufacturer has the dash lights and the tail lights on the same circuit.
It is possible that there is a problem with moisture causing a short circuit if all the dash lights come on. It could also be a faulty relay or alternator.
if you are blowing fuses DO NOT ignore it. most likely you have a short between the fuse box and the ac compressor, you will probly have to rip out the dash to find it, its not easy, seriusly pay someone that knows what there doing to fix it.
you have to take off the dash board panels. these screws will be over the radio, behind the ashtray, under dashboard over the gauges, and the last set will be on each side of the steering wheel. u can then see the 4 screws for the gauges and just remove screws, reach back and twist bulb out. i would suggest changing all four at the same time because if one goes out they all will. i learned the hard way Is that the only thing not working? check your tail lights. you will still have brake lights but if you blew a fuse your running lights , tail lights and dash are all on the same fuse. mine kept blowing it was a bad ground by the alternator.
