Call an AC contractor
How much does a company charges to clean a condenser and evaporator coil
To clean your indoor evaporator coil, the contractor will most likely clear larger debris by hand or with a special brush, then follow up by applying a self-rinsing evaporator oil product. This product will clean the coil effectively and rinse off during the cooling process when the system is turned on.
Mold.
your ac / evaporator coil can freeze up. check you liquid line ( smaller refrigerant line by ac evaporator coil) if line is pounding and very hot, chances are your system is low on Freon ,,, also check condenser and ensure that its clean an condenser fan / fans are operating as designed.
It should be between $500-$750 to properly clean an evaporator coil.
wher is the a/c evaporator drain hose located
Yes there was 2 of them. Both coils were prone to leaks after about a year. Contact your local YORK dealer to see if your evaporator coil model # and serial # are part of the problem coils.
Soak a rag in bleach, then spray the coil with Windex (it's what I always use). Wipe clean with the bleach rag and enjoy!
very difficult, better off saving yourself the headache and taking it to a shop
I would remove parts until the evaporator is exposed then blow it out and/or vacuum it out then spray it down with Lysol.
No. The drain tube just drains the condensation away from the ac evaporator coil.
