It depends on where you are selling the clothing as to whether or not you require a license. If you are selling at a simple yard sale, you do not require any special license or documentation. However if you are selling clothing at any type of vendor event or in an actual storefront setting you are required to obtain either a vendor license or an actual small business license including a federal tax id #.
Yes, you need a business license to sell firewood in California. All people selling items to make money need a business license.
With a license, no. Without a license, yes.
A forward auction is the "ordinary auction" we are all used to today. In a forward auction, the buyer bids on the sellers item, and the prices of the item increases during the auction. On the other hand, a reverse auction switches the roles of the buyer and the seller. In a reverse auction, the sellers are competing for the buyers business, and the prices of the items the sellers are selling decrease during the auction.
A public auction refers to the selling or trading of items in a public setting. Anybody can attend and bid on the items up for auction and the profits are often to satisfy a judgement decided in court.
Sometimes one is sold at auction.
