Never heard of the IRS taking someone's drivers licence, especially since the 10th Amendment wouldn't give them the authority to do this. Drivers licences are issued by the state, not by the federal government. If you have issues with the IRS, you really need legal representation. Don't know if you've ever looked through the tax code, but it's very long and very complicated, and you need someone who knows it to go through it with you. From there, they can determine what course of action to take, and may even be able to settle with the IRS for less than what you actually owe.
