Your 1995 F150 auto transmission light will flash for many different reasons. When the truck runs rough when gas is demanded would most likely be insufficient fuel supply. This can be cause by a plugged fuel filter or a faulty fuel injector.

Why would a 1999 Ford Contour shake or vibrate at idle?
I also wish someone would answer this question as my 1997 Ford contour does the same thing. It shakes and vibrates very bad when it idles and it idles really low. see previous answers, but if it idles high it might be the Mass Airflow Sensor. if your car idles too high for too long and you keep driving it, you could burn out the transmission module (very expensive )
