There is a staple on the front of the gearshift just below the knob, remove it and lift the shift knob.
you have to twist it off.
Push down the gearshift, then move the gearshift to the left and forward. You must be physically pushing *down* on the knob.
unscrew it. counter clockwise.
overdrive is turned off. This is usually controlled by a button on the shifter knob. Press it to turn of the overdrive, push it again to turn it back on.
Push in the overdrive button(located on the gear shift knob - below the shifter button).
Below the headlight knob, to the right of the power mirror knob.
That will turn off ( or turn back on ) the overdrive feature of your transmission When the overdrive is off , so the transmission only uses the first ( 3 ) gears the O/D OFF light will light up in your tachometer . Overdrive is the normally allowed position so if you shut the vehicle off , the next time it is started the overdrive feature is allowed or if you have shut the overdrive feature off just push the button again to turn the overdrive back on

A light intensity knob is a control knob that adjusts the brightness of a light source, such as a lamp or a light fixture. By turning the knob, you can increase or decrease the amount of light emitted by the fixture.
You do not have the Jeep in OverDrive and risk damaging your Jeeps transmission on the highway. To fix this hit the button on the left hand side of your gear selector knob.
Go to where the dash board is and you will find a nob that you can push that will show you different settings. Keep pushing until you see settings. Push in and hold the knob,twist the knob until you will see "Warnings" highlighted, push in the knob to select "Warnings" and from there you will be able to turn off the warning for the temperature gauge.
