A bendix.
In DC series motor, field and armature are in series. so we use only two points. They are line and armature. therefore we use two point starter.
crawl under the car an remove it
Three phase motors are controlled by a device called a starter. The starter allows the motor's supply voltage to be applied to and removed from the motor. These types of starters coil's can be controlled with usually a lower voltage that can be remotely controlled.
The problem is in the starter drive (sometimes called bendix). Take the starter back to wherever it was rebuilt and have it repaired or exchanged.
The starter motor is at the rear of the engine.
The starter motor is at the rear of the engine.
You can find the starter on the right hand side of the motor. The starter will be near the back of the motor. You can follow the positive battery cable to the starter.
The starter should be located at the rear of the engine next to the flywheel on the passenger side. ~ D
A two-point starter is used to control the starting of electrical machines, such as DC motors. It helps limit the initial current surge during the starting process by gradually increasing the voltage applied to the motor through the use of resistance. This protects the motor's windings and prevents damage due to high inrush current.
Hi the starter motor is under the engine on the right had side you will need ro remove the air filter and casing this is the black box also on the right hand side of the engine Hope this helps
