In a tube closed at one end, only odd harmonics are produced. This is because the closed end acts as a node for the pressure wave, leading to a fundamental frequency and odd harmonics of that frequency.
short tube on the end of a hose
Blue smoke? The end result of a tired engine. White smoke? Cracked head or bad head gasket.
Ammonium chloride is formed nearer to the hydrochloric acid end of the tube because ammonium chloride is a product of the reaction between ammonia and hydrochloric acid. As ammonia gas moves towards the hydrochloric acid, it reacts with the acid to form white smoke, which is ammonium chloride. This reaction creates a visible white ring closer to the hydrochloric acid end.
The head end of a tube can be the closed end. This depends on what the tube's purpose in the car is.

Hi, I gather it's the breather tube that's smoking white...or is it the engine exhaust? Let's assume it's the breather draft tube. I specialise in crankcase breathing for vintage, classic and today's motorcycles. In these, white smoke is blow-by vapour venting the crankcase. The vapour is a cocktail of water, unburnt fuel and other exhaust products. If it were my 327, and I'm sorry I sold mine...I'd take the breather to ground, with a draft tube projecting into the air-stream under the car, with a 45 degree slash-cut in the end, and the cut perpendicular to ground. That will suck out the blow-by and keep it out of your carb. Good Luck, Rex in Sydney
Tube lights glow white because they contain a phosphor coating on the inside of the glass tube that absorbs the ultraviolet light produced by the electric discharge and re-emits it as white light. The combination of different phosphors creates a balanced white light output.
When a tube of blood is centrifuged, erythrocytes end up on the bottom of the tube.
A bong is a water based apparatus used primarily to smoke cannabis. It consists of a bottle partially filled with water and a tube that runs into the water with a cone shaped attachment on the end. The water cools the smoke so that it doesn't burn the throat.
You smoke by inhaling from the filter end of a cigarette.
