ive put in brake fuild oil toped that up checked the battery level all ok still the battery light and hand brake light are still on...
brake light and battery light is on
One of the gauges is outside the safe range. Check oil pressure, coolant temp, and battery voltage.
sounds like you have an alternator that is not charging the battery. Most computer systems in cars require a min of 11.2-11.6 volts to function. The brake light is probably also the warning light for ABS and requires power to the motor (ABS) and if the ABS computer doesnt sense the correct voltage it will set a light
it takes 1 C type battery <><><> That answer is not really very helpful because the question doesn't say what the voltage of the light bulbs is! This question cannot be answered without knowing at least the voltage of the light bulbs and also the voltage of the battery that is being asked about.
Park brake light - might mean the e-brake pedal is slightly moved down to initiate light. Battery light - means the alternator is bad or battery bad etc. Parking brake light also comes on when the brake fluid runs low... This happened on a 2003 kia Rio the next day the car died it is either because of a bad battery, alternator or alternator fuse
Your alternator is defective. Could be the internal voltage regulator or one or more bad diodes. Replace as soon as you can to avoid getting stranded on the road.
that light is the low coolant warning light
could be a bad alternator or battery
Put some brake fluid in the master cylinder.
The button on your dashboard
The battery light comes on when the alternator output voltage is too low or too high. You have a wiring or regulator problem. The battery light comes on when the alternator output voltage is too low or too high. You have a wiring or regulator problem.
