The dash lights and the tail lights are on the same fuse. In all probability, you have a short circuit in the tail light wiring.
The tail light fuse controls the headlights in a Nissan Altima. A second fuse box is located next to the battery.
there's a short in the wiring or in the fuse box
your headlights will burn out faster and could possibly blow a fuse, but you would go through headlights and a drastically increased rate if you use headlights when they are unneeded.
check and see if the headlights flash and the secuity light comes on and goes off. that is what mine did. had to get the BCM replaced and reprogrammed.
You have a short circuit. make sure a bare wire is not touching metal Found the answer: I had a bad daytime running light module.
Typically, that means that there is either a damaged wire, something is plugged in wrong or someone has connected something to the wiring improperly.
Check your fuse panel under the dash, fuse space #13, if it is blown replace with a 15 amp fuse. This fuse is for your cluster. If you have had problems with your headlights turning off without notice, when you have your headlights on, feel the column just above the turn sig/dimmer switch. If it is warmer than the rest of the column than your light control module needs to be replaced. If that module is bad it will continue to blow fuses so just replacing the fuse will not work but for a real short time.
blow fuse, bad motor, bad switch or wiring
I have a 2002 Hyundai accent and my headlight are out but all other light are on, also light is glovebox is out. Is there a fuse for this?
Man vehicles have the dash lights and tail lights wired through the same fuse. Check your fuse box for the dash or tail light fuse. Something has most likely caused it to blow.
There is a shorted wire or bulb in that circuit.
