The motor could be frozen up or the motor resistor could be blown. If the motor is frozen and you try to turn it on, most of the time it will blow the resistor which in my 1986 Mazda b2000, is located behind the glove box mounted in the air duct.
Perhaps, but could also be: Low coolant? Bad thermostat? Heater core airbound, plugged? Heater temperature control cable frozen? Water pump not circulating coolant?
if youre trying to turn the heater on and cold air comes out, then its most likely the heater core
heater will not blow on a 1996 ford contour
if the heater does not blow out warm air change the setting.
SOUNDS LIKE THE INTAKE GASKET BLEW, OR THE HEATER CORE FAILED.. EITHER WAY, THIS IS A COSTLY REPAIR.
Low coolant? Thermostat not opening? Control cable not working? Plugged heater core? Heater core "airbound"? Low coolant? Thermostat not opening? Control cable not working? Plugged heater core? Heater core "airbound"?
The heater does not blow air because it emits infrared rays that have heat molecules within them, thus releasing heat, not blowing it. A heater does not blow air becasue there is no moving air source within the heater. The heater emits infrered rays that cause heat to slowly flow out of the heater.
Your heater will blow cold air only.
You need to clean or change your heater core Also check your rad cap to be sure that it holds the pressure change it every 2 years minimum
Possibly low coolant level or blown heater core.....also check thermostat CHECK COOLANT LEVEL FIRST. IF FULL THEN MOST LIKLY YOU NEED A THERMOSTAT.
why doesnt my heater work on my1985 BMW
