Be more informative on "over heats". Is it being driven along time before it over heats? Is the guage showing hot but not boiling out the radiator, is there steam coming from under the hood, is there a sign of leaking under the passenger side dash or under the firewall on the ground, have you had the thermostate replaced, is the water pump leaking?
are you sure its not rusted? cause me 92 Plymouth acclaim's oil pan rusted, and i had to get a new one. it only cost like 3-$400.
My 1991 Plymouth Acclaim manual says mine is R12, but I can't say for the '92 It was built with R12, should be retrofitted to R134a.

On the 2.5L, it is under the intake/exhaust on the back of the engine. On the 3.0L it is below the exhaust manifold on the front.

It is located on the backside of the engine/transmssion assembly against the firewall. It is screwed into the diff houing and is easier to get to from beneath the car.
Filter is located in the fuel line under the right rear(passenger side)of the vehicle, adjacent to the fuel tank.
trade it in, or sew whoever sold it to you as a lemon, unless you bought new or as is.ORget it inspected and try to find out whats wrong with it
Theres a pulley tensionor, loosen the bolts to it, pull it tight and retighten bolts, but dont over tighten the belt... there should be alittle play but not much, because if its to tight, it can break, to lose and it will come off, once you tighten tensionor, it should have about a quarter of an inch of play.
