The computer will limit the top speed to about 100mph

It sounds like your belts in your tires may be starting to separate. My mustang started to shake at highway speed. New tires cured it. My 05 Pacifica still rolls smooth. No problems so far
The vehicle speed sensor is not an independent sensor. The transmission computer uses its output speed sensor to calculate vehicle speed. That signal is sent to the cluster for the speedometer. The ABS also measures wheel speed and it is compared to the transmission reading.
Most common cause is your alignment. specifically the "toe" adjustment.
When your tires squeal at a low speed it can mean a number of things. The tread on your tires may be almost gone or you may have low tire pressure.
The spark plugs are 100,000 mile plugs. You need o replace them with platinum plugs, then remove the throttle body and idle speed motor then clean them and reassemble it. There are no spark plug wires on the 3.5L engine.
Speed sensors are not user serviceable parts. The sensor needs to be replaced, and is usually either screwed in or bolted on making the replacement easy.
The engine computer does act as a speed limiter.
The 2012 Chrysler 200 has a 4-speed automatic.
