You change plugs because the continual sparking erodes the electrode, which slowly retards the ignition timing, which then makes the engine run inefficiently,
put in a new condenser. this can be a couple problems, either the spark isn't jumping the gap it supposed and just sparking due to a bad spark plug gap or the wrong spark plugs for your car or your coil is bad which rarely happens but it can with age
You should replace the spark plugs periodically because the sparking performed by the plugs wears away at the face which the spark is formed on. This causes the "spark plug gap" to become incorrect and cause poor performance or running. Also, if there is a problem with the fuel mixture, it is possible for the spark surface to become coated in oil or fuel which can result in incomplete sparking, again affecting running and performance.
No each spark plug takes turns at making a spark. If the firing order is 1342 then they spark in that order while 1 is sparking the others are not. The plugs spark when the piston is up on the compression stroke and not all pistons are compressing at the same time. Though this happens very fast, but I still think they are not all sparking at the same time.
The main reason a car misfires is because the spark plug wires are not installed correctly. Check the car's firing order to ensure the spark plug wires running from the distributor cap to the spark plugs (in the cylinders) are in the right order. One or more spark plugs could be damaged or worn so the firing order is correct, but the spark plugs are not sparking into the spark plug wires to ignite the engine.
If you see sparks coming from your spark plugs something is wrong. You could have broken insulation on the wires. You could have broken spark plugs. You could have too much grease and gunk on the wires. If the spark is outside, it is not burning the gas inside the engine and you are sending unburned gasoline out the tailpipe. Tell me which brand of gasoline you are wasting your money on and I will buy stock in the company. The cure is probably new plugs, wires, etc.
when do you change spark plugs
You can always check to see if the plugs are sparking. Get an inline spark checker. Harbor freight 3 bucks. Hope this helps.
There are 6 spark plugs on a 3.7 liter. They are located on the outside perimeter of the intake manifold and under the coil pack for each cylinder.
the transmition ,is probably not adjusted to the spark plugs,or their not the right spark plugs
Take old spark plugs out put new spark plugs in
2002 galant , can't find the spark plugs
