The turn signal flasher is located behind the tachometer, speedometer and other gauges that are mounted (air pressure gauge, battery volt guage, fuel guage, oil pressure guage, etc.) to that one large panel. On Peterbilt dashboards there are usually 5 to 6 screws and the panel and it can be removed with all the guages attached and there is enough wire harness room to pull it forward. Look into the wire harnesses and you will find a relay rectangular box labeled "electronic flasher". It is rust color and will also say "12 volt, 12 lamp". It is not mounted to anything, just laying there with 2 large 10 guage white wires to it. The relay flasher pulls out and is 2 prong. They usually cost anywhere from $10.00 to $25.00. Get the Grote 20 lamp, 12 volt for $20.00. It is high amps and blinks immediately and at a nice pace. It order to determine if this is your problem. Check the turn signal fuse/relay located in the fuse box next to the clutch pedal. Remove the access panel and it is marked. If the fuse is good Check the switch located on the steering column. Usually when flasher goes out the turn signal light will stay on without blinking. Good luck and happy trails...
