If it's an 8 cylinder it's on the front of the intake manifold, closer to the passenger side. It'll have 1 wire only coming from it and the color of the wire should be orange.

The Automatic Shutdown Relay is located on left inner fender and is secured along with several other relays with a 10 mm sheet metal screw. Simply unplug the wires and remove the screw.
On a 1988 D150 w/ 318, it is driver's side front of vehicle.
The oxygen sensor on the 1987 Dodge D150 1/2-ton pickup with 2-wheel drive and a 3.7 liter 1Bl 6-cylinder engine is mounted in the exhaust manifold, next to the transmission bell housing. Check under the hood in the rear engine area on the driver's side.
A 1992 318 distributor would have an electronic position sensor in it.
