if its a 5.0 it would be right near the alternator, there is a plug in the very top that's a triangle shape with three screws in it (and a plug connected to the front of it. it should be grey in color and when u pull that off there will be a small metal stem attached to the bottom )and a threaded nut connected at the bottom with a metal pipe coming out of the bottom of the nut. its a big nut u need to twist off. but that's it right there on the passenger side

I have a 5.8L in my 1990 and it is located behind the intake on the passenger side. Right by the valve cover.
The EGR valve, on a 2004 Ford F150 5.4 liter engine, is located on the top of the engine near the back. The valve is difficult to identify without prior mechanical knowledge.
There isn't a carburetor , it's fuel injected
It's located on one of the valve covers. The breather is on one and the PCV valve is located on the other one. and it will have a hose coming off it. Hope that helps.
