A cheap kicker amp, or amplifier could be purchased from any of the following websites: Kicker, Sonic Electronix, HiFi Sound Connection and Half Price Car Audio. A cheap one, either new or used, is bound to appear on eBay from time to time. This would perhaps be the cheapest of all. Lastly, one could just go to a local Radio Shack, or order from the official Radio Shack website.
No, This does not come with an amp. Purchase separately a kicker amp. Awesome !!!
The Kicker 4-channel Car amp has the Kicker logo on it.
Yes you can use anything 500 watts or larger to power the Kicker 08DS.
buy a 600 watt amp. hitron makes a good one really cheap and it has a cool blue light on it.
Not necessarily. If it's a low quality/off brand amp, I wouldn't do it. I run 2 kicker's, a dx250.1 and a lx300.1 and I have them both maxxed out. If you run a quality amp, they will still produce clean power. Cheap amps will start to spit out really dirty power than you can only see with an oscilloscope. So in short, it could be, but I'd need to know what amp you are referring to.
750 watts
I ran it with that amp and it started clipping, so lower the settings on amp, the amp is a monster!!!
A 'kicker' is an illegally modified linear amp for a 10 meter ham radio, reconfigured to work with the 11 meter band.
You could go with a 600 watt 2 ch amp or a 300 watt mono block amp, depends on what OHM the subs are, if they are 8 ohm you could wire them down to 4 ohm or if they 4 ohm u could wire them to 2 ohm, i have a 600.1 Boss amp and subs are wired together at 2 ohm and they BANG.
yes it will
it depends on your speaker wattage.
well i have two kicker comp cvr 12 and a 800 cantus comp amp and those mad my ears bleed and ive had alot of different set ups but that's the best yet
