do you mean glasses to wear or glasses to drink from? With glasses to wear, the lens falls out. they use a special kind of glue and some wire to stick it back into place, and then screw it in. With drinking glasses, they are VERY hard to repair, but I guess glue and a lot of time and patience would do the trick

When viewing a light source the grating effect will break the light into a prism of colors, offering the user a unique experience. You can check out companies like GloFX to view the various glasses that will feature this special lens. They also have a great FAQ page about diffraction glasses, you can read up on it by searching GloFX Glasses What Are Diffraction Glasses.

I dislike the polychromate materials, as they blur colors and really are difficult for me to use. Go back to the place you bought them and have them check to insure they were made properly and that they match the perscription.
