the time frame to change plugs depends on two things. 1. the type of plug you are using, ie(platium) vs standard. My own I change once a year. I do it in the fall. I don't use mileage as a concern. It is strictly maintainence. I have not. had a problem in this area so it works for me. I do full tune-up every fall. oil, filter, and lube every 3000. Old school but it works. Hope it helps.
