There right on top of the motor
Replacing spark plugs is pretty simple. Disconnect the battery and the spark plug cables, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, reconnect the cables and the battery.
Change your spark plugs. Check for compression. Check for a seized piston.

Hey you should look at a Br9eu
I think my 07 manual says 100,000 miles
I recently had that problem with my Ford f150 '07 truck and it was my spark plugs
could be a number of things, start by checking the spark plugs and work your way back
Have not had the opportunity to do so on a 2004, but I have changed plugs on a '96, '00, and '07. They are essentially the same. You will need to remove part of the air intake system and possibly battery and windshield washer reservoir. Plugs are in a deep well and having an assortment of socket extensions and accessories is essential. A long-tipped angled needle-nose pliers always comes in handy to fetch the socket and plug from the well. If you have a well equipped tool box and you have changed spark plugs on other vehicles you should be set. Good luck!

The 07 Solara uses an Iridium tipped plug. The exact number depends on the engine you have (4 or 6 cylinder) so check your owners manual. Be aware (this is also in your manual) that spark plugs don't need replacement until you reach 100,000 miles. If you aren't there yet, don't worry about it. Cheers
