Low coolant? Cooling system airbound? Low coolant? Cooling system airbound?
Transmission overheat.Transmission overheat.
It will overheat at idle.It will overheat at idle.
Take off your Radiator cap. Under your radiator you will see a butterfly nut on the right side. Unscrew that nut and all your coolant will pour on out. Replace the nut and refill with a 50/50 mix of coolant.
There was no Dakota until 1987,There was no Dakota until 1987,
MY 1995 DAKOTA got hot because the radiator was rusted out. The fins on the radiator would crumble just by touching it. Replaced radiator, problem solved.
Should be at the bottom or rear of radiator or remove lower radiator hose
Does anyone know how to take off a radiator fan clutch from a 1998 Dodge Dakota 3.9 V6
Water in the floor of your Dakota can mean two things. Your heater core is leaking in which case you need to keep check of the radiator fluid because your truck will overheat from lose of fluid or the drain hose that leaks condenced water to the outside when you run the A/C has come lose or is clogged
on the bottom of the resivoir tank that is attached to the radiator
