fanbelt on a 306 hdi how do fit it
Every 75k
yes there is.
A cam belt or timing belt on a Peugeot 306 GTI only needs to be changed if it breaks or shows signs of wear. Changing the cam belt on a vehicle is not part of the regular maintenance. It only needs to be inspected once a year unless problems arise.
As a rule of thumb, most cars need the cam belt changed at every 100,000kms - or 5 years, whichever comes first. I think the Peugeot 306 handbook states 120,000kms, however I would very much advise AGAINST this, it's not worth the risk.

every 60,000 miles incorrect answer, they suggest 70,000 miles on a std 1.9D as i own one. i didnt change mine until 75,000 miles 60,000 miles is a bit hasty unless u slog the life out the workhorse all the time
the only way 2 take the engine out of a 306 diesel is out through the bottom as the lower pully for the fan belt will stop the engine coming up the hole way take it out complete with the gearbox its quicker and easer
