The JOHN DEERe 777 that I run uses a 10w-30 in the engine. The hydraulic drivetrain uses 15w-40 diesel engine rated oil. I run Shell Rotella for both and only use Wix filters. I believe your 757 is the same, but the capacities for each system may differ.
