If you mean that the wire came out of the boot, then pull the boot off of the spark plug and use a spark plug socket to remove the spark plug.
Could be bad spark plug, spark plug coil, mismatched spark plug wire, or loose/broken motor mounts, or problem with head gasket.
Spark plug wire not connected to spark plug? Spark plug wire connected to Wrong spark plug? Vacuum line disconnected? Bad spark plug or wire?
The best way is to use the spark plug socket out of the factory tool kit. If you do not have that use a normal 5/8" socket to loosen the spark plug. Use the spark plug wire to snap back on after the plug is loose and pull it out. The spark plug is at the very top of the engine, the spark plug wire is a real good indicator of its location.
If you have a loose spark plug, your car will not stall unless maybe your engine has 3 cylinders. If you have a 6 or 8 cylinder engine you would just loose some power and your engine would run a little rough.
blown head gasket OR if in only one cylinder then maybe the plug was loose?
I have had this happen 3 times and all three times it was eighter a loose spark plug or a broken spark plug.
Probably losing spark in that one cylinder, maybe a faulty spark plug, a spark plug wire or distributor cap.
Worn, faulty or dirty spark plug; cracked or worn spark plug wiring or loose connection.
Yes, if the wire is old and frayed or if it is rubbing against metal the wire could ground out and discharge into the engine block before it get to the spark plug causing the plug to misfire. If the contacts are worn or loose you could also get an intermittent misfire.
it means misfire on cylinder 2, to repair- it mean check spark plugs, spark plug lead, loose wire, check coil pack & the y pipe which goes to the catalytic converter,
When replacing spark plugs on a Nissan Maxima 1995 remove the spark plug covers by twisting until they come loose. Use a socket and wrench to turn the spark plug to the left until it is released from the vehicle. Repeat for all spark plugs. Screw the new spark plugs into the vehicle and replace the spark plug covers.
