behind fan,bolted to front of engine block
The 1994 full size Chevy used the serpentine belt system to drive the pump and fan and it turned them counterclockwise.
Lefty loosey to remove the fan clutch but the fan assembly rotates CCW when the engine is running.
To remove the fan clutch on a Chevy Tahoe, the upper fan shroud must first be removed. Once removed, a tool is needed to hold the clutch in place to allow for the fan to be removed. The nuts must be unscrewed on the fan in a counterclockwise rotation. Remove the nuts on all side and the fan clutch will remove.
It is located behind the fan and mounted to the engine block with 4 bolts.
That is what the big fan on the front of your engine is bolted to.
The big fan that is on the front of the engine is bolted to the water pump.
The big fan in the front of the Radiator is bolted to the water pump.
not block?? Two thoughts, stuck thermostat maybe, loose connection on cooling fan and droping the hood jars it.
On my fan their is a little switch on the side if the neck of the fan
Answer turn the nut in reverse of the clockwise rotation, also known as counterclockwise (CCW).
Dead center on the front of the engine. Probably has a big fan attached to it.
