Are you referring to the (oil pressure sensor) or the (oil pressure regulator)?
Yes, it is part of the oil pump.
May be on top of the oil filter

The regulator is on the right said if its a 4 liter engine. In front of the oil cap it has thin wire under it
Oil pumps have a spring operated regulator and the spring's tension determines the max oil pressure.
Looking from the front , I believe the fuel pressure regulator on your 4.0 L OHV engine is about 2 inches to the right of your oil fill cap on top of the engine

The fuel pressure regulator is underneath the fuel filter bowl on the righthand side of the motor. It has a two wire connector plug that goes into it. Also it is underneath the oil pressure sensor switch.
Fuel Pressure Regulator is located on the fuel rail.Fuel Pressure Regulator 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. 2. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure. 3. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube(s). 4. Remove any necessary components to access the pressure regulator. 5. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the pressure regulator. 6. Remove the pressure regulator attaching screws. 7. Remove the pressure regulator from the fuel rail. To Install 8. Discard the O-rings on the pressure regulator and replace them with new ones. 9. Lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil. 10. Install the regulator into the fuel rail and tighten the retaining screws. 11. Connect the vacuum hose to the regulator. 12. Install any components removed to access the regulator. 13. Install the air cleaner outlet tube(s). 14. Connect the negative battery cable.
